RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF WHEAT (Triticum aestevum L.) STRAW SODA-OXYGEN PULP

Abstract



In this study;
pulp was produced with soda-oxygen process by using wheat (Triticum
aestevum L.) straw as raw material and this pulp
bleached with hypocholoride (H) and peroxyde (P) stages. It was found that
crystalline properties of unbleached and bleached pulp samples increased by
removing amorphous components. In addition, paper sheets made from unbleached
and bleached soda-oxygen pulp and determined their optical properties.
Consequently; while crystalline properties of pulp samples was rising with HP
bleaching, it was determined that optical properties of paper sheets improved
with bleaching.

Abstract

Buğday (Triticum aestevum L.) sapından soda-oksijen  yöntemiyle elde edilen kagıt hamurları hipoklorit (H) ve peroksit (P) ile iki kademeli ağartma işlemine tabi tutulmuştur. Pişirme ve ağartma işlemleri boyunca amorf yapılı bileşenlerin hammadde ve kağıt hamuru bünyesinden uzaklaştırılmasıyla birlikte kristalen yapı özelliklerinde artış olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, pişirme ve ağartma işlemleri sırasında her bir kademeden alınan kagıt hamuru örneklerinden elde edilen kağıt safihalarının optik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; soda-oksijen yöntemiyle elde edilen kağıt hamurlarının HP kademeleri ile ağartıldığında kristalen özelliklerinin artmasına bağlı olarak optik özelliklerinin geliştiği tespit edilmiştir.
